In Nigeria basically, Itel has gained name for being one of the cheapest brands. Anyone who knows this also knows that in achieving this cheapness, they've been known as one of the brands with the least interesting features...
Apparently, 2020 is a brand new year for this brand as they flag out a brand new device... I introduce you to the Itel P36 Series...
The P36 flags out an amazing 6.5" screen at 720 X 1600p (IPS LCD). While this may not be superb or amazing it flags out that beautiful screen with that lovely notch that houses it's 8mp selfie shooter. It also features an Android 9 (Go edition) OS, while the pro, of course features Android 9. It spices things up with it's 1GB RAM which also creates a landmine, as it's Pro variant flags a 2GB RAM. Both devices feature a 5000mAh battery and the SC7731E chipset at 1.3GHz (Quad core) while the pro variant features the SC9863A chipset at 1.6GHz ( octa core). It also features an 8mp+QVGA rear camera while the pro variant flags a 13+QVGA rear camera, while rocking that iPhone inspired style and that single LED flash. Both cameras shoot videos at 1080p... And the pro variant comes with a 10W charger (step up from the normal chargers).
Personally, I love the specifications of these devices, but.... I don't know if the price points are my cup of tea. That being said, the P36 is priced at 33,000 Naira and the Pro variant is priced at 43,000 Naira.
Please comment and share if you like this device. Rumour has it that the prices may reduce after the corona pandemic cools off as a result of price of importation... Also, if you have any Itel device in mind with better specifications, please do well to state it in the comment section. Thank you for reading...
